Contributions from India
I have had the good luck to be knowing about the Country Fair organised by Todd earlier. Hope this project also gives me better experience. Although I do not teach in a school, I teach students as a private tutor and have seen the excitement on the faces of my students when I share news from these projects.
We have a festival, Holi coming up on March 20. It is a religious festival with lots of colors associated with it. We smear each other with dry and wet colors on this day and express our love and brotherhood by embracing each other. Children enjoy the most as they play for more than 4 hours with the colors.
It is believed that Lord Krishna also played Holi with his Gopis and Bhakt Prahalad invoked God on this day to save him from the tortures of his own father.

Hello, dear colleagues!
I am Svetlana from Russia. Do you remember we made a little survey about TV watching habits of teenagers from different countries?
Dear Ilse was very kind to help in organizing it. Ilse, thank you so much!
At last I and my pupils have completed the work at the project" TV watching habits of teenagers".
Finally, we have come to the conclusion that watching TV is still popular activity, and in many cases it brings problems with health, such as problems with eyesight, over-eating, watching too much leads to little physical activity.

Thank you for joining my blog! I just want everyone to know that Maria has had a Country Fair blog for quite a while and this is not an effort to replace hers. I just want to learn how to blog - this is my first time and I thought that this would be a good forum of people to learn with and from. Maria (or anyone else who knows how), I would appreciate any advice that you could give me while I play with the different options. Dear Todd, I am sorry I have not kept in touch recently but I found it a bit difficult because most teachers wanted to have direct contact with students in Afghanistan and I was unable to provide that.
